PYTHAGORAS INTERNATIONAL SEMINAR – DELPHI

PYTHAGORAS' WISDOM FOR OUR TIME AND THE FUTURE

Seminar by Daniel Levy
9th-10th-11th of May 2020 / Hotel Amalia, DELPHI - Greece

Pythagoras Seminar in Delphi

This fascinating seminar explores Pythagoras’ teachings and their applications at all levels: education, medicine, music and science. It also explores the benefits for individuals, groups, communities and organisations. The seminar will demonstrate the applications of Pythagoras’ wisdom in the contemporary world.

There are places in the world that enshrine deep meanings for our civilizations, past, present and future.

Delphi (about one hundred miles northwest of Athens, Greece), is one of them. It is a place where Pythagoras was inspired in the 6th century BC and that can inspire all those interested in sharing knowledge and wisdom about the true nature of the human being as well as the evolution of human societies and habitats.

This 3 day seminar will take place at the Hotel Amalia in Delphi, Greece.

Immersed in a scented pine forest overlooking the Gulf of Corinth and based on the rocks of the mountain Parnassus, the Hotel Amalia is minutes from the well-preserved ruins of the temple of Apollo and the Sanctuary of Athena Pronaia.

DANIEL LEVY

The world renowned pianist and director/co-founder of the International Academy of Euphony, developed the educational method of Euphony in 1982, using music as a tool to understanding the Art of Listening.
His workshops and seminars offer a deep insight into the ways in which a skill that we so often take for granted, can transform our personal and professional lives.
Having spent 30 years studying music and sound, DANIEL LEVY authored the book Euphony, the Sound of Life – an investigation of the effects of sound on the human being. The book went on to become the core text in a celebrated European Union Socrates Grundtvig course, where DANIEL LEVY was also the main tutor.
Levy’s speaking engagements and seminars focus on listening as an essential human resource, offering each participant the opportunity to explore the fascinating world of sound and music and its intimate relationship with our body, emotions, mind and intuition.
He is also the author of the book Pythagoras and Euphony - The Challenge of Knowing How to Listen - which deals with the core of the Pythagorean wisdom: the world of Sound, the human constitution and the relationship with cosmic forces in close correspondence.
In 2017 he joined the Global Listening Centre as Honorable Director. Levy has been given the Distinguished Listening Scholar Award by the Global Listening Centre.
